Mick Deliberate and methodical, delivered with charming sincerity. It's stuff like this that reminds me why I fell in love with indie rock in the first place. Favorite track: It's All Uphill.

about

All songs written, performed and recorded by Stephen Steinbrink at the McKinley St. House in Phoenix, AZ.

These songs were in part informed and inspired by "Sig Alert" by Emperor X, A Year From Monday by John Cage, and the Phoenix experimental music group Sungsang.

These songs live in the flawed infrastructure of Phoenix and in the hope that it can someday adjust.

Cover painting by Andy Steinbrink

For Richard Gimbel.
